Task
Complete the 30 day art challenge, taking a different photo per theme each day. Yes, you can attempt multiple photos on a single day.
Purpose
A 30 Day Art Challenge covers TONS of ground, and has so many subjects that it’ll do wonders to your autodidactic learning skills (googling your own answers.) A former student did this for her final project, and I was so amazed at the results and her growth that I thought it should be an official project.
Criteria for Success
Your photos don’t NEED to be taken once per day. For instance, a walk around Seattle might let you get a photo for Architecture, Self Portrait, Street Photography, and Motion Blur in one day. Heck, why not panic and do all 30 themes on the night before it’s due? However, they should all be distinct; don’t turn in 4 nearly identical photos for a hard light sunset symmetrical street and expect us not to notice.
Your Lightroom Catalog should provide everything we need to view all your photos (save 4 star ratings for what you turn in) and understand what the theme of the day is (keywords, name, etc). I would recommend a naming convention of Project2_30DayChallenge_day1_Cats.
These themes were taken from several disparate 30 Day challenges. You can mix and match til you hit 30. Several have been omitted because we cover them later in the course.
